Our Mission
To bring kindness, guidance, and support full circle. In close connection with Collin County ISDs, we walk alongside families facing life’s toughest moments — offering help, hope, and a community that cares.
Our Impact
Over the past three years, Boomerang Cares has raised over $130,000 to support our community in meaningful ways. We’ve brought joy to over 100 families by providing holiday toys, meals, and groceries, awarded over 10 scholarships to graduating seniors at McKinney Boyd, McKinney North, McKinney High, and Serenity High, and created opportunities like sending a 7-year-old to soccer camp. We’ve also helped families in need with school supplies, contributed to a car fund for a local citizen who lost their vehicle in a fire, provided a saxophone to a promising band student, and supported Serenity High with funding for drug screen tests for the 2023 school year. Together, we’re making a lasting impact in the lives of those around us.
Full Circle Fundraisers
Circles of Giving
Each year, Boomerang Cares hosts three signature events to support our community. The Boomerang Cares Backswing Golf Tournament, brings together golfers and supporters for a day of fun and competition to raise funds for scholarships awarded to graduating seniors from McKinney ISD. In December, the annual Toy Drive Gala spreads holiday cheer by providing meals, toys, clothing, and support to Collin County families in need, ensuring they experience the warmth and joy of the season.
